Milad Naeimi is Founder and Principal of Strature, Toronto. He built its method and platform to give CEOs and risk teams a clear picture of how regulation, policy, trade measures and sanctions reach their operations, and the actions each change calls for.
His training combines three disciplines: an engineer by first degree (civil engineering, Herat University); an economist and political scientist (BA, Political Science and Economics, University of Toronto); and a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, where he held the IPL–Lupina Fellowship.
At Environment and Climate Change Canada he built Canada’s first national transit energy-demand model. He works in English, Persian and Pashto.
Milad Naeimi is Founder and Principal of Strature, Toronto. He built the firm’s method and platform, which give a company a picture of the regulations, policies and risks that can reach it, weighted by where it actually operates, with the action each item calls for.
His training combines the three disciplines a buyer of geopolitical and regulatory advice needs. He is an engineer by first degree, with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Herat University, which trained him in numbers and systems; an economist and political scientist, with a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Toronto; and a graduate of the Master of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, where he held the IPL–Lupina Fellowship.
His quantitative work is concrete: as a Junior Economist at Environment and Climate Change Canada he built Canada’s first national transit energy-demand model and rebuilt its zero-emission-vehicle demand model. He is concurrently Executive Director, Policy, Research & Government Relations at The Future, where he has convened more than 150 senior officials, regulators and industry leaders on Canada’s blockchain and digital-asset strategy. Earlier, as a civil engineer in Afghanistan, he led World Bank–funded delivery of schools and water wells. He is the sole author of four working papers on state capacity, counterinsurgency, innovation ownership and value chains, and works in English, Persian and Pashto.
